Quality Department

Reporting to: Quality Engineer

About the Job

Quality Department plays a very important role in Cyrus. Youwill be working closely with NPI Quality Engineer on testing samples and builds. 

Your key responsibilities are asfollows:

-       ConductFirst Articla Inspection (FAI), Process Capability/ Process Capability Index (CP/CPK)measurements on moulded parts.

-       Confirmsamples submission from engineering for moulding validation.

-       Identifythe appropriate measurement method and create measurement work instructions.

-       TrainQC inspectors in measurement methodology.

-       Verifytool changes and process dimensions after tool modifications / rectifications.

Your areas of knowledge andexpertise that matter most for this role:

·       Aminimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role (preferably in Plastic InjectionMoulding Industry).

·       Experiencein using QC inspection tools such as Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), SmartScope etc

·       Basiccomputer and Microsoft Office knowledge and skills

·       Good work attitude & interpersonalcommunication skills

·       Self-motivated with a good learning

·       Able to work independently and in teams.

·       Able to interpret mechanical drawings andbasic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

·       Detail oriented for data accuracy.
