About the Role 

At OTONOCO, we are expanding our engineering footprint to build the next generation of Compliance AI.

We are not just looking for someone to close tickets; we are looking for a builder—someone who can look at a complex problem, design a scalable architecture, and write the code to solve it, from the database to the UI.

You will be working directly on our core AI product, bridging the gap between robust application development and autonomous AI agents.

What You Will Do

• Build End-to-End: Architect and ship full-stack applications using TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.
• AI Integration: Design and implement autonomous, extensible AI agents using Python. This is the heart of our new roadmap.
• System Reliability: Take ownership of system architecture, ensuring scalability, strong observability, and reliability.
• Optimization: Deep dive into database schemas (PostgreSQL) and optimize high-traffic API performance.
• Collaborate: Partner with product and design teams to ship features that matter, without the red tape.

What You Bring to the Table

• The Stack: You are proficient in the JavaScript ecosystem (TypeScript, React, Node.js) and comfortable with Python.
• Data & Cloud: Strong command of PostgreSQL (schema design/query optimization) and experience deploying on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• AI Curiosity: You have experience with, or a strong desire to master, AI/ML engineering and agentic workflows.
• Engineering Rigor: You care about clean code, testing, and CI/CD not because you have to, but because it lets you sleep at night.
