Responsibilities:

• Primarily develop software from scratch to completion (SDLC) for industrial automation systems.
• The incumbent will design, implement, resolve technical issues, maintain and validate safety-critical control systems.
• Able to contribute to building, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring reliability and functionality.
• The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional engineering team and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Computer with 3-5 years of similar working experience.
• Proficient in PLC programming, configuration, I/O addressing and industry standard communication protocols (e.g. RS232, Modbus, TCP/IP, EtherCAT).
• Knowledge in control systems design, safety compliance documentation, electrical engineering concepts and applications.
• Experience in PC-based motion control and user interface programming is a plus.
• Knowledge in SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD LT.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues through effective troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
