Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infra Chapter Engineer to manage and support enterprise middleware infrastructure within the Digital Banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in WebLogic and JBoss application servers, with proven expertise in SSL configuration and secure application deployment. This role requires ensuring stability, performance, and security of middleware platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams including database, networking, and infrastructure support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, and support WebLogic and JBoss application servers in enterprise environments.
• Implement and maintain SSL encryption and secure communication configurations across middleware platforms.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and stability of application server environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve middleware, application, and deployment issues in production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with database, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational support activities.
• Support application deployment, release management, and environment setup activities.
• Perform system tuning, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning for middleware platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, banking regulations, and internal IT policies.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and operational support guides.

Required Skills:

• 6-9 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, middleware administration, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers.
• Experience in SSL encryption setup and management.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris).
• Strong Unix Shell scripting skills for automation and operational support.
• Experience in troubleshooting middleware and application server issues.
• Basic understanding of Oracle databases.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise or banking environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills across technical teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of load balancers, networking concepts, and traffic routing.
• Understanding of database connectivity and performance considerations.
• Experience working in Digital Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of build tools such as Gradle and Maven.

Experience:

• Infrastructure Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
• Unix/Linux environments: 1 year (Preferred)
• SSL encryption setup and management: 1 year (Preferred)
• WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers: 1 year (Preferred)
