Intern - Cybersecurity

Position Overview

The Transformation Office (TO) at National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) is seeking a dynamic and driven intern to join our Cybersecurity Team in 2026. The intern will help support NTUC’s Cyber Team in strengthening the organisation’s security posture through monitoring, analysis, and governance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist the Cybersecurity Team in coordinating follow-ups on security alerts with users, system owners, and external vendors.
2. Support email communications with multiple vendors to track, clarify, and close cybersecurity alerts or findings.
3. Assist in maintaining trackers, records, and documentation for cybersecurity follow-ups.
4. Help with cybersecurity documentation, audits, and governance activities.
5. Support vulnerability management and remediation follow-ups.
6. Support GRC-related projects, including policy documentation, compliance reviews, audit preparation, and evidence collection.
7. Assist in organising cybersecurity governance materials, reports, and project updates.
8. Assist in basic incident response tasks such as log gathering and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
2. Basic understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and operating systems.
3. Strong willingness to learn and good analytical thinking
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
