As a Consultant, you will work hands-on with clients to solve business challenges using MuleSoft technologies and deliver impactful integration solutions. We welcome both experienced professionals and motivated fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in integration and API development.

Client Delivery & Consulting

• Work directly with clients across ASEAN to deliver MuleSoft integration solutions
• Analyse technical and functional requirements to define scalable API solutions
• Design, develop, and test MuleSoft APIs using MuleSoft v4 and Anypoint Platform
• Provide technical guidance throughout implementation, testing, and production deployment
• Ensure quality delivery through estimation, design, development, unit testing, and governance

Solution Development

• Create reusable integration patterns, frameworks, and architecture blueprints
• Perform data transformation using DataWeave (from simple to complex scenarios)
• Ensure adherence to integration standards (REST, JSON, XML, web services)
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies in both processes and technology

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customers
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to solution proposals

Team & Practice Contribution

• Collaborate with team members across projects and share knowledge
• Contribute to internal IP, methodologies, and service offerings
• Mentor junior team members and support capability development (for experienced hires)
• Represent Capgemini as a thought leader (e.g., meetups, content contributions)

Internal Responsibilities

• Follow Capgemini values and governance processes
• Participate in team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
• Support recruitment activities when required
• Maintain accurate administrative records (timesheets, expenses, etc.)
• Continuously upskill and keep certifications and skills current

Experience

• For experienced candidates:

  • 5+ years of experience with integration technologies (middleware, ETL, MDM, API gateway)
  • 2+ years of experience building APIs and integration solutions
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (certification preferred)
  • Experience with CloudHub (1.0 and/or 2.0)

• For fresh graduates / entry-level candidates:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong interest in integration technologies, APIs, and cloud platforms
  • Academic or internship exposure to programming (e.g., Java) or APIs is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn MuleSoft and obtain certifications

Technical Skills

• Knowledge or experience with:
  • APIs, REST, JSON, XML, and web services
  • Data transformation concepts (e.g., DataWeave or similar tools)
• Familiarity with:
  • Java / J2EE technologies
  • API-led connectivity architecture (for experienced hires)
• Optional experience: webMethods, TIBCO, IBM WebSphere

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn (especially for fresh graduates)

Within 3 Months

• Complete MuleSoft and Capgemini training programs
• Contribute to customer projects with hands-on delivery (guided for fresh graduates)
• Gain familiarity with delivery methodologies and tools
• Begin working toward MuleSoft certifications

Within 12 Months

• Deliver high-quality API solutions to clients with increasing independence
• Build strong client relationships and technical credibility
• Collaborate effectively with regional delivery teams
• Contribute to improving internal practices and reusable assets
• Share knowledge through internal sessions and technical content
