Are you passionate about telecom networking and eager to grow your career? We’re seeking a dedicated Junior Network Engineer to support our fiber optic infrastructure. In this role, you’ll analyze network utilization, optimize systems, manage digital inventory, and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize network capacity and resources
• Generate monthly network utilization reports and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate digital inventory of assets, circuits, and connectivity
• Enhance and automate inventory management systems in collaboration with portal development teams
• Document network designs, configurations, and topologies
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for capacity planning and project deployment
• Support outage restoration and on-site activities with vendors
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely delivery
• Standby support during assigned weeks for urgent issues and outages

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Min 1 year of experience in telecom environment, focusing on transport networks, optical transmission, Ethernet, DWDM or some relevant internship experience.
• Strong understanding of transport architectures including OTN and Ethernet
• Knowledge of L2 networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and routing protocols
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change
• Experience with networking hardware from major vendors is a plus
