We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. The Data Modeler will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models that support business requirements and enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling principles, database technologies, and business processes. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into logical and physical data models.

Responsibilities-

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs. 2. Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business objectives. 3. Design end-to-end data integration solutions leveraging the Ab Initio/GCP platform. This includes designing data workflows, transformations, and data quality processes. 4. Translate business requirements into data models that adhere to best practices and standards. 5. Evaluate existing data models and recommend improvements or optimizations.

6. Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement and maintain data models in database management systems. 7. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and opportunities for improvement. 8. Develop and maintain data dictionary and metadata repositories. 9. Participate in data governance activities to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. 10. Document data models, including entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data mappings. 11. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data modeling and database management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling, database design, or database development.

3. Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, including entity-relationship modeling and dimensional modeling. 4. Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner. 5. Experience with relational databases. 6. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 9. Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
