Operational Scope of the position: Implement instructions by optimizing processes.

The Business Controller position is responsible for:

• Be aware of, respect, and ensure compliance with the Company's code of conduct.

o Management control:

• Monitor, control & analyze the monthly, quarterly & annual reports of the subsidiaries. Support the reporting submission of subsidiaries in MAGELLAN (figures and comments). Ensure the consistency & consolidation of these data.
• Contribute to the production of the BU's results presentation within the framework of monthly Business Reviews.
• Conduct specific analyses (monthly ANARON) & performance studies.
• Develop and monitor procedures related to management control.
• Prepare & manage the budgetary and PLT processes (templates, communication, assistance), consolidate subsidiary submissions and prepare presentations on behalf of the BU/LBU.
• Ensure the monitoring of investments and working capital of the subsidiaries of its BU.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies on key indicators each month between SAP and Magellan reporting.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies on key indicators each quarter between the CAP consolidation package and Magellan reporting.
• Responsible for monitoring cross-functional topics across the entire BU scope.
• Responsible for implementing the controlling aspect of branch projects on the BU.

o Information systems:

• Train subsidiary controllers in reporting methods and financial tools (Magellan, PowerBI...). Provide support and interface between subsidiaries and the Magellan administrator (creation of rights, incident reporting...). Assist subsidiaries on reporting & finance topics.
• Facilitate performance analysis by building PowerBI reports. Train controllers in their use.

Purpose

• Ensure the reliability of results and provide the necessary elements to understand the activity of the subsidiaries within its scope to the BU/LBU management and the Branch’s financial management.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's procedures and guarantee proper monitoring of financial points from the subsidiaries.

Qualification / Experience required

• Qualification level required for the position : Minimum Bachelors' Degree or equivalent level
• Technical skills required for the position : Good knowledge of management control and accounting. Mastery of SAP, Essbase, and Excel
• Behavioral competencies required for the position : Communication, analysis, and synthesis skills. Rigor. Strong team-working ability. Ability to handle multiple topics simultaneously, organization, stress resistance. Managing constraints related to international time differences.
• Language skills required for the position : Fluent English & French proficiency required due to geographic coverage and employment terms will be fully local.
• Level of experience required for the position : Minimum 4 years of successful experience in business analyst, management control, or finance positions in operational entities.
