Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Project Engineer to support project execution and ensure work is carried out according to schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Engineer and project team to coordinate site activities and monitor project progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Support project execution to ensure work is completed within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Prepare daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Assist in material planning and coordination of deliveries.
• Identify and report project issues to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HSE requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in construction or project management will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be based in Pengerang, Johor.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
