Production Engineer to support steel fabrication operations by improving production efficiency, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production KPIs and identify bottlenecks, losses, and improvement opportunities.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing practices to improve OEE, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Support preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including 5S.
- Support automation and equipment upgrade projects.
- Ensure product quality meets QA/QC standards and support corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
- Support reporting, downtime analysis, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Manufacturing / Automation).
- Minimum 1 years in production, maintenance, or automation in manufacturing.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, OEE, RCA, TPM.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
