Responsibilities

• You must lead the design and delivery of enterprise technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles and the overall IT strategy.
• You are expected to engage key business and technology stakeholders to ensure solution requirements are well understood and successfully delivered.
• You must collaborate closely with architecture, infrastructure, security, and delivery teams to ensure solutions conform to enterprise standards and governance requirements.
• You are expected to drive solution architecture activities across strategic initiatives covering Finance, Treasury, Actuarial, Risk & Compliance, HR, Investments, and ESG domains.
• You must produce and obtain approvals for architecture and governance artifacts while ensuring adherence to internal standards and audit requirements.
• You are expected to lead and coordinate development teams throughout the design, build, testing, and deployment lifecycle.
• You must design scalable and resilient application architectures, including integration with internal, external, regional, and local data sources.
• You are expected to architect and implement modern data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and ETL/ELT solutions.
• You must design and support data virtualization, analytics, and cloud platform solutions leveraging Azure technologies and AI/ML capabilities.
• You are expected to contribute to project planning, estimation, and roadmap development, balancing technology investments, risks, and business value.
• You must ensure compliance with SDLC practices and maintain required technical documentation, including functional specifications, testing artifacts, and audit evidence.
• You are expected to support project execution and transition solutions into BAU operations while ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are achieved.
• You must provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore development teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders across regional environments.
• You are expected to manage project risks, resolve technical issues, and drive stakeholder alignment to ensure successful project outcomes.
• You must facilitate architecture and governance forums and provide strategic recommendations to improve business processes and simplify technology landscapes.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, covering enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, cloud platforms, and technology delivery.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, managing projects, stakeholders, and distributed development teams.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and ETL/ELT solutions
• Strong experience architecting enterprise applications and data solutions within cloud environments, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure technologies including Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience designing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution design methodologies, and SDLC practices.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and product owners to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Proven experience leading regional initiatives and managing offshore development teams within multinational environments.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale technology initiatives while ensuring quality, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or other cloud-related certifications are advantageous.

Pay: RM16,000.00 - RM17,000.00 per month
