Job Description

1. Audit Planning & Execution

• Perform risk-based internal audits across all business units within the Group
• Develop audit programs and perform fieldwork, including data analysis and site visits
• Review operational, financial, and compliance processes

2. Internal Control & Compliance

• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and relevant laws/regulations
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements

3. Industry-Specific Audits

• Developer / Construction: Contract management, project costing, procurement, progress claims, variation orders, compliance of SOP.
• Shopping Mall / Retail: Tenant billing, rental collection, footfall reporting, leasing compliance, Compliance to SOP.
• Hotel & F&B: Inventory control, wastage, cash handling, outlet operations, Collection, Compliance to SOP
• Salon / Service Industry: Daily sales reconciliation, staff commissions, product usage, customer packages, Compliance SOP.

4. Risk Management

• Identify key business risks and assess mitigation measures
• Assist in developing risk registers and monitoring risk exposure

5. Reporting

• Prepare audit reports with findings, risk implications, and recommendations
• Present audit findings to Management and follow up on corrective actions

6. Investigation & Special Reviews

• Conduct investigations into suspected fraud, irregularities, or misconduct
• Perform ad-hoc reviews as requested by Management

7. Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control
• Promote best practices across different business units

8. Undertake special assignment and ad hoc duties as and when required by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field

2) Professional certification (e.g., CIA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage

3) Minimum 3–5 years of internal/external audit experience, preferably in multi-industry environment

4) Experience in construction, retail, or F&B audits is an added advantage

5) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills

6) Independent, detail-oriented, and able to travel for site audits

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
