Key Responsibilities
- Resource & Feasibility Studies: Evaluates the economic viability of prospective mining sites through detailed surveys and data modeling.
- Mine Planning & Design: Develops the blueprints and layouts for both surface and underground operations, determining the most efficient methods to extract resources.
- Safety & Hazard Management: Assesses risks related to rock stability, ventilation, and explosive blasting, enforcing strict safety protocols to protect workers and surrounding communities.
- Environmental Reclamation: Designs strategies to minimize ecological damage and oversees the restoration of the land once mining operations conclude
Skills Required
- Geotechnical Knowledge: Understanding rock mechanics, soil composition, and geological structures to ensure structural integrity.
- Technology Proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling, computer-aided design (CAD), and automated mining technologies.
- Project Management: Ability to manage large teams, coordinate with heavy machinery operators, and control operational budgets
A Bachelor's Degree/Master in Mining Engineering, Mineral Resources Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering is required with Experience more than 15 years.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
