Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician to operate, monitor, maintain, and repair Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and building facilities. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems, and general building maintenance. The technician will also respond to emergencies, attend to tenant complaints, and support renovation and project works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on M&E systems according to schedules
• Attend to emergency breakdowns (AC, electrical, plumbing, water leakage, sanitary issues)
• Carry out installation, modification, and repair works for M&E equipment
• Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and anti-corrosion works on equipment
• Maintain swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sewerage, and plant room facilities
• Handle tenant complaints, check-out reinstatement, and renovation monitoring
• Support fire drills, testing, and emergency lift operations during power failures
• Maintain accurate log sheets, checklists, and energy consumption records
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of plant rooms and equipment areas
• Work on rotating shifts, including emergency call-outs when required

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Proven experience in building maintenance, M&E systems, or facilities management
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond to emergencies promptly
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and on-call duties
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
