Job Description
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Create and maintain project schedules.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and financial forecasts. Monitor expenditures and ensure the project stays within budget constraints.
- Resource Coordination: Coordinate with various teams (design, procurement, construction, etc.) to ensure timely availability of resources. Liaise the procurement of materials and equipment required for the project with our Purchaser.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to ensure that engineering solutions meet project requirements and standards. Review technical documents and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet required standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and oversee testing procedures to verify quality.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them and to monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle and to facilitate troubleshooting and corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Compliance and Safety: To ensure that the project complies with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements. To oversee safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, contracts, change orders, and progress reports. To ensure that all project records are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately to team members.
- Project Closure: Oversee the completion of project deliverables and ensure that all contractual obligations are met. To Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, identify lessons learned, and document best practices.
- To perform any ad hoc tasks related to the Project Engineer duties to be assigned by project manager from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Preparation of project schedules, technical specifications, and feasibility studies based on survey findings and data analysis.
- Experience in design and electrical engineering drawing.
- Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels including stakeholders.
- Flexible to work around Johor Bahru.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
