Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, carpentry, painting, and other building systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest room, public area, and departmental maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Carry out preventive maintenance programs according to established schedules and maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and hotel equipment to identify and rectify maintenance issues.
- Repair, replace, and service maintenance-related items such as light bulbs, fuses, batteries, filters, locks, fittings, and other hotel equipment.
- Assist with painting, polishing, varnishing, minor renovation works, and improvement projects as assigned.
- Support hotel functions and events by assisting with setup requirements involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related works.
- Maintain all maintenance tools, machinery, equipment, workshops, plant rooms, and storage areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Monitor and maintain the operational efficiency of hotel facilities and equipment to provide a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for guests and employees.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve operational and maintenance-related issues efficiently and professionally.
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports, work orders, inspection checklists, and other documentation in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Respond to emergencies including power failures, water leaks, flooding, equipment breakdowns, and fire alarm situations, and take appropriate corrective actions.
