- Understand machine operating principles, mechanisms, and assembly functions.
- Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings from 3D CAD models, including part, sheet metal, assembly, and weldment drawings.
- Apply appropriate dimensional and geometric tolerances based on design and functional requirements.
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), part numbering systems, and engineering documentation.
- Review designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements to optimize production efficiency and machining costs.
- Assist in implementing minor design modifications and drawing updates that do not require engineering analysis or design decisions
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in SOLIDWORKS, with the ability to interpret and work with complex 3D assemblies.
- Strong understanding of GD&T fits and tolerances, hole-basis systems, and engineering drawing standards.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, milling, turning, welding, sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in automation equipment, special-purpose machinery, industrial equipment, or machine-building industries.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
