JOB PURPOSE

To assist the operations teams by monitoring daily expenses, managing inventory records, and ensuring cost data is accurate and up to date for reporting and budgeting purposes. responsible for tracking, recording, and controlling day-to-day business costs to help ensure the project stays within budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support budget preparation, cost estimation, and planning activities.
• Prepare work order proposals and related cost documentation.
• Work closely with the Project Management Team (PMT) to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions in accordance with established deadlines.
• Record daily purchase invoices, expenses, and stock movements accurately in the system
• Assist in monitoring departmental costs against approved budgets
• Maintain and update inventory records (stock in/out, wastage, adjustments)
• Check supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Support monthly reconciliation processes
• Identify and report variances (e.g., overuse, shortages, wastage)
• Ensure proper filing and documentation for audit and control purposes
• Coordinate with finance and project teams for accurate data

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience, proficiency in SAP system, and Microsoft Excel, experience in monitoring project costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost control measures.
