IT Operations Engineer (with Admin Works)

About the Job

We’re looking for an IT Operations Engineer who’s happy to do both IT support and some general admin/office work.

What you’ll be doing

IT stuff (main duty)

• Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, printers and other office IT equipment
• Help colleagues with IT issues (hardware, software, email, WiFi, VPN, etc.)
• Install and update Windows and common applications
• Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WiFi)
• Work with vendors for IT purchases, support and repairs
• Make sure basic IT security is in place (antivirus, updates, backups, user access)
• Keep track of IT assets and simple documentation

Admin & office support (secondary)

• Simple admin work: filing, data entry, scanning, basic paperwork
• Help with POs, quotations and following up with supplier
• Support any other ad-hoc tasks from the team/management

What we’re looking for

• Diploma in IT / Computer Science / related field, or equivalent experience
• Around 2 years in IT support / IT operations (strong fresh grads can be considered)
• Comfortable with Windows, MS Office 365 and basic networking
• Able to troubleshoot issues on your own and follow through
• Okay to do both IT work and general admin (not just pure IT)
• Responsible, organised and good with people
