PSA Singapore Hiring! Full Time Engineer (Smart System Solutions – Smart Engineering) in - Ricebowl

You will be in the team developing and implementing advanced Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Predictive and Prescriptive Maintenance for container handling equipment and other electrical/mechanical systems to ensure high equipment reliability and optimum performance. There will be wide application of distributed computing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence by harnessing Big Data Technology as you work with voluminous data from the various sources such as the sensors aboard the container handling equipment and inter-connected smart systems. You will also collaborate with business units to develop multi-domain analytics use cases to derive improved processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Computer / System Engineering
• Proficient in processing large data sets using programming tools such as Python
• Knowledge and experience in database programming language such as SQL/HiveQL, scripting in Linux and data visualization development with tools such as Power BI, is preferred
• Keen to learn advanced analytics techniques on Big Data platforms such as Hadoop
• Interested in working closely with business units to understand their process flows and to develop and deploy Data Analytics solution
• Passionate about technology and innovation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills
