Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibilities

• Carry out E&I testing, commissioning, and system start-up for assigned engineering projects.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth system handover and completion.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.
• Maintain accurate documentation, track punch list items, and ensure timely closure.
• Provide regular updates through daily or weekly progress reports and meetings.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to address design or operational issues.
• Ensure timely execution of tasks in line with safety standards and project specifications.
• Follow work procedures including permit-to-work systems, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering/Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience preferred in Water and Waste Treatment
• Good skills in E&I troubleshooting.
• Experience in project management would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical cable sizing/voltage drop /VFD/control systems is a plus.
