As a Senior Container Engineer, you will collaborate closely with teams across multiple divisions within Singapore to define strategy, deliver solutions, and support production systems. Your expertise in DevOps best practices, system resilience, modern technologies and tools, as well as application development and testing, will be instrumental in establishing and evolving Singtel’s engineering standards.

You will be part of a dynamic Agile team of container, cloud, and DevOps engineers, working across business units to design, build, and deploy cloud and container platforms. Acting as a change agent, you will drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and partner with stakeholders across divisions to build and enhance Singtel’s cloud services and container ecosystem.

Make An Impact By

• Design, build, and operate container platforms including Kubernetes (K8s) on cloud service providers such as AWS (EKS) and Azure (AKS), OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
• Implement security hardening for Docker images, OCP, AKS, EKS clusters using automated scripts, aligned with CIS benchmarks and Singtel security policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable container and pod deployments.
• Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and operations for AKS, EKS and OCP using tools such as terraform
• Setting up, supporting and operating service mesh
• Contribute to the definition of long-term strategy, roadmap, and engineering standards for container platforms, including AKS, EKS and other K8S platform
• Demonstrate familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including relevant services supporting containerized environments
• Collaborate effectively within large, cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals and platform capabilities.
• Utilize DevOps toolchains such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Nexus Repository to support development, collaboration, and release processes.
  
  

Skills For Success

• More than 5 years in Application Development
• 3 years in implementation of DevOps and supporting container Platform.
• Certified in either of the following
• Openshift Container Platform
• AKS
• EKS
• Proficient in:
• OpenShift Container Platform
• AKS
• EKS
• Docker
• Service Mesh
• YAML
• Documentation of architecture and standards.
