Take full ownership of assigned WTP (Water Treatment Plant) to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation and consistently meet flow, quality, reliability and regulatory/site requirements.
Lead and coach operators/technicians; provide on-the-job guidance to reinforce safe and consistent operating practices.
Drive optimization of chemicals, energy and manpower without compromising compliance or reliability.
Prepare and submit routine operational reports, including water quality, system performance, chemical consumption and activities.
Respond to incidents and emergencies; investigate, document findings, implement corrective actions, and restore operations promptly.
Troubleshoot system issues and recommend corrective actions or improvement measures.
Build strong communication with clients and ensure client high satisfaction.
Study and identify clients’ needs and provide suitable proposal to assist them to resolve WTS issues or improve reliability or saving.
Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive, corrective and shutdown maintenance with clients and internal/external teams to ensure safe and timely execution.
Prepare method statement, safe work procedure, risk assessment and necessary permits prior to any works activities.
Supervise and ensure all work activities are carried out safely and compliance with client requirements and authority regulations.
Lead/coordinate internal team/contractors during maintenance activities; verify workmanship and handover of system back to clients.
Complete service reports, work completion records and close-out documentation.
Ensure compliance with site EHS requirements and safe work practices for all operations and maintenance activities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety and cost performance.
Support commissioning and start-up activities, when assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Education: Diploma or Degree in engineering
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or construction of water treatment facilities; experience with ultrapure water systems is an advantage.
