Full-Stack Developer (WordPress / Python / AI Products)

ABOUT THE ROLE

************* is a growing premium wellness e-commerce platform. We run on WordPress + WooCommerce today, and we're building new web properties and AI diagnostic products — logic, APIs, and data flows.

We're hiring a strong all-rounder who can code, ship production features, and take ownership end-to-end. You'll work directly with the founder and have real influence over product direction, architecture, and execution speed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WordPress & E-Commerce

• Build and maintain our WordPress/WooCommerce site — custom themes, plugins, performance, and stability
• Manage WooCommerce catalog structure, payments, extensions, and troubleshooting
• Build new websites and web properties (WordPress and/or separate modern stack)
• Manage or support Shopify projects as needed

AI Diagnostic Products

• Implement diagnostic logic, scoring flows, and structured data pipelines
• Build and consume APIs (internal and third-party)
• Integrate AI services and tools where needed

Backend & API Development

• Develop backend services in Python — APIs, automation, data processing, and integrations
• Work with REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication flows

Front-End & Design

• Implement clean front-end experiences: landing pages, product pages, funnels, and dashboards
• Follow a UI/UX workflow: wireframe and prototype in Figma, then build in production
• Deliver polished layouts with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and spacing

Infrastructure & Security

• Handle hosting and server tasks: Linux/cPanel, DNS, SSL, deployment, and performance tuning
• Manage security and maintenance: updates, backups, hardening, Cloudflare/Wordfence, monitoring

Technical SEO

• Optimise Core Web Vitals, structured data, indexing hygiene, and page speed
• Work with Google Search Console for ongoing technical health

AI-Assisted Workflow

• Use AI tools actively to accelerate coding, content support, and workflow automation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

• Strong coding skills with real shipped work — not just tutorials or coursework
• PHP + WordPress custom theme and plugin development
• JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Python — building APIs/services, automation, and data handling
• Comfortable with API development and integrations (REST, webhooks, authentication basics)
• Hands-on WooCommerce experience (catalog, payments, extensions, troubleshooting)
• Able to work across stacks — WordPress for core, modern stack when the project calls for it
• UI/UX competence with a strong design sense (layout, typography, spacing, visual hierarchy)
• Proficient with Figma; comfortable with Canva
• Server and hosting fundamentals: Linux/cPanel, Apache/Nginx basics, DNS, SSL
• Security fundamentals: Cloudflare/Wordfence, permissions, patching, backups
• SEO fundamentals: on-page and technical, Google Search Console familiarity

Nice to have:

• Experience building AI or diagnostic products (scoring flows, dashboards, model/API integration)
• Shopify theme or app customisation
• GA4 and Google Tag Manager
• Experience with Next.js, React, or a similar modern web framework
• Basic video editing or social content support
