We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Data Architect to lead the design and governance of our enterprise data architecture. This role requires a strong understanding of data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and integration tools, along with hands-on familiarity with platforms like Denodo, Dataiku, and media/data processing tools such as FFmpeg.

As a key technical leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the data architecture aligns with business goals and supports current and future data-driven initiatives.

• Define and drive the organization's enterprise data architecture strategy, standards, and best practices.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable data architectures across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Provide architectural leadership in the implementation of data virtualization solutions using Denodo.
• Enable advanced analytics and machine learning workflows through platforms like Dataiku, ensuring integration and performance across data environments.
• Architect and optimize pipelines for handling multimedia content, including video/audio processing using tools such as FFmpeg or similar.
• Lead data modeling, metadata management, and data governance efforts.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data architecture solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and frameworks that align with business and technical needs.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

 Qualities We Value

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture roles, with a strong foundation in enterprise data systems.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data architectures in complex, large-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Denodo (or equivalent data virtualization platforms).
• Familiarity with Dataiku or similar advanced analytics/machine learning orchestration platforms.
• Working knowledge of FFmpeg for media processing pipelines, or comparable experience with multimedia data handling.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Kafka, Airflow).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical conversations.
