Job Responsibilities :

• Ensure timely material planning, allocation, and issuance to support production schedules.

• Work closely with Purchasing and Suppliers to manage material availability, shortages, and expedites.

• Drive material readiness reviews and risk mitigation for demand changes or supply constraints.

• Optimize material usage and minimize excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.

• Prepare and analyse reports on inventory status and material usage.

• Analyse sales forecasts and historical data to predict future material requirements.

Minimum Requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in material planning, production planning, or similar roles

• Strong analytical and coordination skills with the ability to forecast and plan effectively.

• Good understanding of production planning and inventory control

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in English, and Mandarin (to liaise with stakeholders)

• A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
