Background
Are you a builder who focuses on the "what" and the "why" rather than just the "how"? EVI Services Limited is looking for a full-time Software Engineer (Vibe Coding) to join our core development team. In this role, you won't just be grinding out manual syntax line-by-line; you will be orchestrating AI agents, LLMs, and modern IDEs to rapidly prototype, build, and ship production-ready features for our early childhood education platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Prototyping & Production: Use advanced AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, v0, or internal EVI agents) to build, iterate, and deploy scalable educational modules.
• Prompt Engineering & Workflows: Design, test, and refine complex system prompts and agentic workflows to ensure code quality, optimal performance, and security.
• Legacy Integration: Act as the bridge between AI-generated components and our existing production codebases and databases.
• User-Centric Design: Focus heavily on the "vibe"—the UI/UX flow—ensuring our frontend tools remain incredibly intuitive for both teachers and young children.

Requirements

• Education: Holder of a Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Research & R&D Experience: Demonstrated experience (academic or industry-focused) in researching, benchmarking, or experimenting with LLMs, prompt optimization methodologies, autonomous agents, or Human-AI collaboration frameworks. Experience writing research papers, technical reports, or a university thesis in an AI-related field is highly valued.
• The "Builder" Mindset: A strong portfolio of functional apps or side projects created using AI-assisted development workflows.
• Technical Literacy: While you focus on intent and system architecture, you must understand JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Python deeply enough to debug, review, and verify AI outputs.
• Critical Thinking: Strong "hallucination-checking" and code-reviewing skills to ensure business logic remains secure and sound.
• Communication: Fluent in English and Cantonese to effectively collaborate with our local product, design, and business teams.

• Strict Location Requirement: This position is based permanently in Hong Kong.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work and physically present in Hong Kong.
• No fully remote, offshore, or cross-border remote arrangements will be considered.
