Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Construction Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and managing on-site activities.
2. Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Prepare technical submissions, method statements, and quality assurance documentation.
4. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and works.
5. Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
6. Support in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and material procurement processes.
7. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain proper documentation.
8. Assist in resolving technical and construction-related issues.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building or infrastructure construction projects.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
- Strong technical understanding of construction drawings, specifications and methodologies.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
