The Role

We are seeking a Translator / Interpreter / Localization Specialist to support multilingual communication, content adaptation, and localization initiatives across various business functions.

This role is ideal for language professionals who are passionate about cross-cultural communication, linguistic precision, and delivering high-quality multilingual experiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesTranslation & Content Localization

• Translate documents, reports, websites, marketing materials, technical manuals, and business communications between designated languages
• Adapt content to suit local cultural, linguistic, and market requirements
• Ensure translated materials maintain the intended meaning, tone, and style of the original content
• Review, edit, and proofread translated content for quality and consistency
• Maintain terminology databases, glossaries, and translation memory systems

Interpretation Services

• Provide consecutive, simultaneous, or liaison interpretation for meetings, conferences, workshops, and business engagements
• Facilitate communication between multilingual stakeholders and international partners
• Support virtual and in-person interpretation assignments
• Ensure accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism during interpretation sessions

Localization & Quality Assurance

• Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, product managers, and technical teams on localization projects
• Conduct linguistic testing and localization quality assurance reviews
• Ensure localized content aligns with brand guidelines and target audience expectations
• Identify and resolve linguistic, cultural, and formatting issues
• Support international expansion and multilingual content initiatives

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Support

• Manage translation and localization project timelines and deliverables
• Coordinate with external language service providers and freelance linguists where required
• Prepare language-related reports and project updates
• Support multilingual communication strategies and global content development efforts
• Stay informed on language trends, industry terminology, and localization technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, International Studies, or a related field
• 1–8 years of experience in translation, interpretation, localization, multilingual communications, or related functions
• Professional fluency in at least two languages with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization best practices
• Excellent proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail capabilities
• Experience using CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, Smartcat, or similar platforms is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Experience in legal, technical, medical, financial, marketing, or corporate translation is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Professional translation or interpretation certifications are a plus
