About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our vibrant team in Bintulu, Sarawak. This full-time position offers hands-on involvement in the sales and technical support of our innovative products, helping clients in the Malaysian market achieve top-tier process safety through end-to-end solutions—from sensor technology to predictive maintenance. Key Responsibilities

• Support Clients Technically: Provide expert advice to clients about using our gas detection products effectively, solve problems proactively, and ensure they are satisfied with our solutions.

• On-Site Work: Visit client sites to check their systems, demonstrate how our products work, and ensure they fit well in their operations. Also, perform troubleshooting, calibration, and testing on-site.

• Work as a Team: Collaborate with sales, service, and project teams to understand customer needs and create custom safety solutions that improve efficiency and reduce risks.

• Train Customers: Teach clients how to install, operate, and maintain our products properly, helping them get the most out of our technology.

• Strong Soft Skills: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage well with customers, providing clear and helpful guidance.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in application engineering, technical sales, or a similar role—bonus if you've worked in industrial safety or instrumentation.

• Sharp technical problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex scenarios.

• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities, with a talent for breaking down technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in CAD software, product specifications, and technical documentation to support solution design and implementation.

• A solid understanding of sales processes and a collaborative spirit to team up with sales professionals for winning outcomes.

• Fluency in English, with strong skills for engaging local and international clients effectively.
