Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize disruption to guests.
- Electrical & Plumbing Work:
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, and lighting issues.
- Kitchen Equipment Maintenance:
- Service and repair kitchen equipment such as chillers, freezers, and other refrigeration units to ensure reliable operation.
- Laundry Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment, including industrial washers and dryers.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to keep equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
- Painting & Carpentry:
- Handle minor painting, carpentry, and furniture repairs to maintain the hotel's appearance.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and report potential hazards immediately.
- Grounds & Facilities Support:
- Assist in maintaining the hotel grounds, pool area, and outdoor facilities.
- Event & Banquet Support:
- Assist in setting up equipment and facilities for banquets and special events hosted at the hotel.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with housekeeping, kitchen, and front office teams to ensure seamless operations and quick issue resolution.
What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role:
- Previous Experience or Technical/Trade Background
- Hands-On Repair Skills (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry)
- Experience with Refrigeration Systems (Chillers, Freezers) is an additional advantage
- Familiarity with Commercial Laundry Equipment (Washers, Dryers) is an additional advantage

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
