B - What We're Looking For
1) Relevant Event Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, brand activations, conferences, launches, exhibitions, roadshows, or related fields
- Experience managing projects independently from start to finish

2) Strong Client Management
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients
- Able to manage conversations, expectations, and challenges professionally
- Strong communication and presentation skills

3) Strong Project Ownership
- Takes responsibility and follows through
- Does not wait to be chased
- Thinks ahead and anticipates potential issues

4) Commercial Awareness
- Understands quotations, budgets, and project costing
- Able to balance client expectations with business objectives

5) Calm Under Pressure
- Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Remains composed and solution-focused when things get challenging
 

Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with product launches
- Experience with luxury brands or premium consumer brands
- Experience with conferences, summits, or large-scale corporate events
- Proposal writing and pitching experience
- Strong supplier network

Event Manager

At Perk Idea, we don't just execute events. We create experiences that are thoughtfully designed, meticulously planned, and delivered to a high standard.
 

As an Event Manager, you are expected to take ownership of projects from briefing to execution. You should be comfortable managing clients, leading project teams, coordinating suppliers, and ensuring every detail is delivered properly.

This role is for someone who can independently drive projects forward, not someone who needs constant direction.

 A - What You'll Do
1) Lead Project Delivery
- Manage projects from briefing to execution
- Own project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and overall coordination
- Ensure projects are delivered smoothly, professionally, and on schedule

2) Manage Clients with Confidence
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients
- Build trust through clear communication and reliable execution
- Manage client expectations and handle challenges professionally

3) Coordinate Suppliers & Partners
- Source, brief, negotiate, and manage suppliers
- Ensure quality, pricing, and timelines are controlled properly
- Resolve issues proactively before they impact project delivery

4) Lead Internal Teams
- Coordinate designers, production teams, freelancers, and project support staff
- Keep all stakeholders aligned and accountable
- Ensure project information is communicated clearly and accurately

5) Proposal & Costing Development
- Prepare project proposals, quotations, and presentation materials
- Translate client objectives into practical and executable solutions
- Ensure budgets and margins are managed responsibly

6) Drive Quality
- Review artwork, production details, timelines, and project deliverables
- Identify issues before they become problems
- Maintain a high standard of execution throughout the project lifecycle
