Role Summary
The Quality Coordinator supports the execution of Rand Technology’s quality management and operational quality assurance functions to ensure that electronic components and solutions delivered meet the company’s world-class standards of authenticity, reliability, and customer compliance. This role assists with internal audits, product verification prior to shipment, non-conformance investigations and disposition, RMA/MRB processes, and continuous improvement efforts. The Quality Coordinator works cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Customer support teams to uphold Rand’s commitment to quality across the supply chain lifecycle.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Support internal, external, and third-party audits and related activities, including preparing documentation, participating in audits, and tracking corrective actions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9120, AS6081, and other applicable quality standards
- Perform final inspection and end-of-line verification of components and products prior to shipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications and Rand’s quality criteria.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conformances, collaborating with Operations and Engineering to determine root cause, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by documenting dispositions, coordinating rework or scrap decisions, and ensuring accurate records
- Manage and support Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes by processing returns, documenting findings, and coordinating resolutions in accordance with customer and internal quality requirements.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, CAPA documentation, and other related quality documents in the QMS, in collaboration with the EHS/QMS Analyst.
- Support the EHS/QMS Analyst by monitoring, collecting, and reporting on key quality performance metrics (such as OTIF, FPY, RMA trends, and audit findings) to facilitate data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Education, Experience, and Physical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in a distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment
- Familiarity with quality management systems, internal audits, and inspection methodologies.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing business needs.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced global environment.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time during the shift.
