About the Job
This is a customer-facing Solutions Engineer role supporting Silicon Photonics (SiPh) test solutions for semiconductor customers. The role combines post-sales technical support and pre-sales engagement, helping customers deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot optical test systems across R&D, NPI, and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for semiconductor customers supporting Silicon Photonics (SiPh) test solutions.
- Provide post-sales technical support, including system installation, ramp-up, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing customer support.
- Work closely with customer engineering and test teams across R&D, NPI, and manufacturing environments.
- Support technical evaluations, demonstrations, and solution recommendations during pre-sales engagements.
- Collaborate with internal sales, applications, service, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Applications Engineering, Test Engineering, or related semiconductor roles.
- Hands-on experience with Silicon Photonics (SiPh), optical test solutions, or photonics-based technologies.
- Strong understanding of optical and electrical testing, test automation, and system integration.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience supporting foundries, IDMs, or OSATs is highly preferred.
