Job Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for the infrastructure design, setup, and continuous improvement of Digital Banking solutions in accordance with UOB Bank Group’s standard.

• Design and set up end-to-end infrastructure environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) including middleware and web servers
• Install, configure, and maintain middleware (JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere) and web servers (Apache, NGINX)
• Build and deploy applications using CI/CD tools and build frameworks (Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, ANT)
• Implement security configurations including SSL/TLS, authentication (JWT), and firewall setup
• Configure network architectures and database connectivity (Oracle, RAC) across application tiers
• Manage source control and release processes using tools like Git, Aldon, and ClearCase
• Perform server setup, Unix/Linux administration, and shell scripting for environment support
• Support messaging systems (MQ) and ensure reliable system integration
• Drive automation and containerization using tools like Ansible, Docker, and OpenShift
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and environment issues
• Conduct system upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Ensure compliance with security, architecture, and enterprise standards
• Promote standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement across platforms and environments

Job Requirements:

• Middleware Application Installation expertise across different platforms like JBOSS, WebLogic, WebSphere
• Hands on experience in setup of Web Server components like Apace, NGNIX
• Knowledge to build software components using source code compilations like Apache, etc.
• Good understanding and hands on knowledge of SSL and other application authentication mechanism like JWT , UFW etc. setup and configuration
• Good knowledge and experience in understanding the network topologies that are required to be incorporated across different tier of architecture
• Good knowledge of Oracle database and RAC setup , and the configuration setup required across application layer for the connectivity
• Ability to work on identification of vulnerabilities and fix them
• Ability to work on upgrades of systems/components under obsolescence
• Experience with a variety of source control tools (GIT, Aldon, ClearCase)
• Experience in setting up servers, working with MQ, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools (ANT, Maven, Gradle)
• Experience in Unix, shell scripting
• Experience in release management processes, Container Management Solutions (Docker, OpenShift, ICP)
• Experience working with Aldon and Clearcase, Ansible
