UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. Job Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting test environments' availability as well as performing SIT, UAT and Production deployments as per the bank’s standards. The successful candidate will be flexible, but process driven, a dynamic leader, an excellent communicator, and efficient in supporting assigned tasks.
Other responsibilities include:
- Performing day-to-day release/change activities such as deployment of files/binaries to test and live environments/servers during green zone (Weekend / Non-Operating Hours), execution of scripts/jobs per component and supporting test environment availability.
- Coordinating and preparing deliverables for production release1s/implementation. This involves working with the project team and/or other teams to complete the details required for the implementation.
- Handling mobile binary readiness for internal testers and clients via the defined process of the bank.
- Governing the process in place among different teams: Development, QA/Test, and other impacted teams.
- Investigation & Troubleshooting Environment related issues, Service status Verification, Startup / Bring down Services (when necessary), Coordination with Infra & Project team to support Patching and any other Ad-hoc activities.
- Understanding Scheduler definition for Control-M Jobs and execution / In coordination with Ops.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Min 9 – 10 years of strong experience in handling deployment activities specifically in open systems (Linux / Unix).
- Knowledgeable in SDLC processes, particularly in version control/source code branching strategy.
- Acquainted with Linux/Unix systems and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, JFrog (Artifactory), Confluence, Git, Rocket Software – Aldon (RDOe), Control-M and BMC Remedy
- Experience in working with/ in agile/ scrum teams
- Experience with object-oriented design principles and SOLID development practices
- Experience with a variety of source control and development tools
- Experience in DevOps
