Sales Support Executive (Contract)

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: Contract

Industry: Electrical Engineering / Automation / Power & Grid Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive to support our commercial and sales operations team. This role will play a key part in managing quotations, customer enquiries, order processing, documentation control, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with sales, supply chain, logistics, factories, and customers while gaining exposure to commercial operations within the electrical engineering and industrial technology sector.

Fresh graduates with relevant educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Support & Quotation Management

  • Review customer enquiries and Requests for Quotation (RFQs)

  • Prepare commercial quotations and proposals in accordance with company guidelines

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical information

  • Maintain quotation records and monitor outstanding quotations

  • Follow up with customers regarding quotation status and commercial enquiries

  • Support the sales team in converting quotations into customer orders

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer enquiries related to quotations, orders, deliveries, and documentation

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through professional communication

  • Coordinate with customers to clarify commercial and documentation requirements

  • Support issue resolution by working closely with internal departments

Order Processing & Coordination

  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner

  • Verify order documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures

  • Coordinate with factories, suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams regarding order fulfilment

  • Monitor order progress and provide customers with status updates

  • Assist in managing urgent deliveries and customer requests

  • Support shipping and delivery documentation preparation

Documentation & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, contracts, and supporting documentation

  • Prepare reports and sales administration documents as required

  • Support project handover documentation and internal coordination activities

  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management activities

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales reports

  • Support tracking of quotation activity, order status, and customer requests

  • Maintain data accuracy within company systems

  • Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and customer experience

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Marketing, or related disciplines

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Experience

  • Prior experience in sales support, customer service, order management, commercial administration, logistics, supply chain, or related functions is advantageous

  • Experience working in engineering, industrial, manufacturing, automation, or electrical industries is beneficial but not required

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
