Responsibilities:

• Route planning and scheduling:Develop efficient delivery routes, considering factors like distance, traffic, and driver availability.
• Fleet management:Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Driver management:Assign deliveries to drivers, monitor driver hours of service, and address performance issues.
• Cost control:Analyze transportation expenses, negotiate rates with carriers, and identify cost-saving measures.
• Compliance management:Ensure adherence to all relevant transportation laws and regulations, including safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Customer service:Coordinate with clients to meet delivery deadlines and address any transportation-related issues.
• Performance monitoring:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery times, on-time delivery rates, and fuel efficiency.
• Problem-solving:Identify and resolve logistical challenges, such as unexpected delays or route disruptions.
• Reporting and analysis:Generate reports on transportation metrics to inform decision-making.

Requirements:
