IT CONSULTANT / DEVELOPER

Tescom is an IT consulting firm providing a range of professional services in functional testing, automation testing, cyber security testing, performance testing, independent IT auditing, and application support.

We are looking to hire one IT CONSULTANT for a DEVELOPER role in an Application Support Team. This is more than just a developer role and an opportunity to grow, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to a high-impact global business.

Responsibilities

1. As an IT CONSULTANT / DEVELOPER, you will join our existing team, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations for our global users. Your main responsibilities will include:
2. Investigating and resolving user-reported incidents using established workflows and ticketing systems, delivering Level 1, 2 and 3 support
3. Applying your hands-on skills in .NET (C#), SQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, Azure, Kafka, and other technologies to diagnose and fix issues efficiently
4. Meeting and exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution times

Experience:

1. Minimum 2 years relevant experience working in an application production support team.
2. Minimum 2 years of work experience in software development and coding in .NET (C#), SQL, JavaScript, NodeJS,
3. Good to have – experience in Azure and Kafka.

Education & Certifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field.
2. ITIL Foundation certification (good to have, not mandatory)
