The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Coordinator supports the Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) team in ensuring all safety documentation, records, and reporting activities are properly managed in the plantation. This role involves both administrative duties and basic coordination of safety activities, such as assisting in inspections, training logistics, and maintaining compliance records.
- Maintain and update safety-related records, including training attendance, PPE issuance, inspection checklists, and safety reports.
- Prepare, compile, and submit safety documentation and reports to management or authorities as required.
- Assist in planning and organizing safety programs, briefings, and training sessions.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items from safety committee meetings.
- Support the ESH team during safety inspections and audits by providing documentation and logistic assistance.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure safety posters, signages, and PPE availability are up to standard.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, document tracking, and report formatting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
