Job Description:
Assist in the operation of the annual disaster recovery (DR) drill with service contractors.
Participate in the maintenance and support of the server infrastructure for the internal email system, including Patch Management Solutions, antivirus, DFS, Microsoft Windows Server platform, and backup solutions across multiple virtualization environments from different vendors.
Take part in daily health checks, inventory management, and system patching activities.
Update patching procedures and the COPM (Computer Operating Procedures Manual) to align with industry standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Support the supervisor in managing overall system availability and performing project management tasks.
Manage physical appliances and equipment located in data centers.
Proactively follow up with relevant stakeholders to resolve client-reported issues.
Provide technical support for project-related matters.
Assist in planning system maintenance events and carry out maintenance activities to ensure ongoing system support.
Help assure and control the quality of project deliverables produced by contractors or vendors.
Provide daily administrative support and produce reports and deliverables that meet internal project standards and requirements.
Monitor and report on system usage and health status.
Liaise with and provide support to various stakeholders and other departments regarding the system.
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience in IT industry
At least 2 years’ experience in administration of Infrastructure in multiple virtualisation environments of different brands and Microsoft Windows Server platform
At least 2 years’ experience in:
Server Virtualisation Technology
Windows Server 2008/2012
Windows Server 2003
Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support
At least 1 years’ experience in:
Infrastructure
Information Security Management
IT Security
System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
