Roles:
Pilot Plant Technician (Miri, Sarawak)

Summary:
The Pilot Plant Technician will support the execution of a technology pilot project by assisting with equipment installation, commissioning, testing, process monitoring, and maintenance activities. The role plays a key part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the pilot project lifecycle.

Key Tasks:

• Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of pilot plant equipment and associated systems.
• Conduct testing, sampling, and data collection activities in accordance with approved procedures and project requirements.
• Monitor and record operating parameters, including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and process performance indicators.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of equipment and utility systems.
• Support operational activities, equipment reliability initiatives, and maintenance coordination to minimise downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in oil & gas, pilot plant operations, process facilities, or related industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, valves, utility systems, and basic instrumentation.
• Familiarity with commissioning, maintenance, and operational support activities.
• Willing to work shifts, extended hours, and support 24-hour operations when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
