A packaging company is looking for a Quality Engineer for their new plant in Johor!

My client is a global industrial packaging leader that designs and delivers innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that reduce total cost and environmental impact. With the rapid business growth, they are looking for a Quality Engineer to be part of the pioneer team for their new plant in Johor. The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's quality management system to ensure products and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role involves hands-on quality assurance activities, problem-solving, supplier and production support, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your new role

• Maintain quality systems and ensure ISO compliance (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 14644, FSC etc.)
  
• Investigate quality issues and drive corrective actions
  
• Support production, suppliers, and audits
  
• Monitor product/process quality and maintain documentation
  
• Contribute to NPI and continuous improvement initiatives
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 2 years working experience in a quality position within the manufacturing industry.
  
• Experience in industrial packaging, thermoforming, injection molding, extrusion and good knowledge of E&E or Semiconductor industry' requirements.
