Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Integration/Telecommunications Project Manager to support the delivery of complex technical packages across large-scale, mission-critical projects.
In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, client stakeholders, consultants, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams to manage the full lifecycle of delivery — from design coordination and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out. You will play a key role in bringing multiple technical workstreams together, ensuring programmes remain aligned, interfaces are actively managed, risks are clearly communicated, and projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, operational readiness, and client satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working across multiple stakeholder groups, and has a strong track record delivering critical infrastructure, data centre, integration, telecommunications, or highly technical construction projects.
The Opportunity
As an
Integration & Telecommunications Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving integrated delivery across a range of technical and operational workstreams. Your role will include:
- Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from design development and procurement coordination to final handover and close-out.
- Coordinate technical infrastructure scope across multiple project phases, ensuring activities remain aligned to programme milestones, client requirements, and operational readiness objectives.
- Manage interfaces between internal teams, consultants, contractors, specialists, vendors, authorities where applicable, and client stakeholders to maintain clarity, accountability, and delivery momentum.
- Monitor progress across key project packages and ensure dependencies, constraints, and integration points are understood and proactively managed.
- Maintain core project controls, including risk registers, change logs, action trackers, decision logs, issue logs, and reporting tools.
- Provide regular project updates on schedule, quality, readiness, commercial impacts, and delivery risks to support informed decision-making.
- Review programme changes or delays, assess downstream impacts, and identify practical recovery or mitigation options to protect key milestones.
- Escalate health and safety, quality, schedule, cost, commercial, or integration issues with clear recommendations, owners, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site reviews to assess installation progress, workmanship, compliance, coordination, access constraints, and overall readiness.
- Support testing, commissioning, transition, and handover activities, ensuring required documentation, asset data, training records, warranties, and close-out deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, process gaps, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve delivery across current and future projects.
- Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to strengthen project performance, client outcomes, and team effectiveness.
Key areas of scope will include
- Telecommunications, structured cabling, carrier services, and network infrastructure.
- Physical and electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and security monitoring interfaces.
- Wireless network deployment and coverage validation.
- Building systems integration, including EPMS, BAS/BMS, monitoring, controls, and interface coordination.
- Operational systems such as CMMS and asset information platforms.
- Client handover, operational readiness, transition planning, and close-out requirements.
- Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E).
- Audio Visual (AV) systems and meeting-room technology.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you bring a combination of strong technical project delivery experience, commercial awareness, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will ideally have:
- Demonstrated project management experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, technology campuses, corporate real estate, or other highly technical construction environments.
- Strong understanding of technical infrastructure delivery, systems integration, telecoms/network packages, testing, commissioning, and project handover requirements.
- Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary workstreams across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and close-out phases.
- A proven ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, vendors, client-side stakeholders, and senior leadership in a client-facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, reporting, risk management, issue management, change management, and governance processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and build trust across different levels of a project team.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to anticipate issues before they affect safety, quality, cost, schedule, or operational readiness.
- High attention to detail, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Preferred Background
- Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, project management, building services, information technology, telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in project management or a related field would be an advantage, such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
- Experience working in live, fast-paced, high-growth project environments.
- Experience on client-side, owner’s representative, programme management, or consultant-led delivery teams would be advantageous.
- Experience with data centre, hyperscale, technology, or mission-critical projects would be advantageous.
- A working understanding of health and safety requirements, permitting, quality assurance, commissioning documentation, and handover governance.
All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
