We are seeking a skilled and responsible Maintenance Technician (Ammonia & Electrical) to join our Maintenance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, electrical equipment, and production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Monitor and maintain ammonia compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control panels, motors, inverters, and production machinery.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
- Conduct daily checks on refrigeration and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Technology, or a related field.
- Competency certification related to electrical systems or refrigeration systems will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 0-1 years of working experience in maintenance, refrigeration, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling industrial ammonia refrigeration systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and industrial automation systems is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
