Role

1. Responsible for aircraft and engine technical matters

Job Description

1. Support/ Manage aircraft and engine technical matters, for valuation, deliveries, redeliveries and lease restructuring, such as:
2. Providing oversight on maintenance events
3. Budgeting and advising on technical cashflow for maintenance events forecasting
4. Reviewing / evaluating lessee workscope, upgrades and modifications evaluation
5. Conducting aircraft mid-term inspections
6. Reviewing aircraft technical records
7. Managing maintenance reserves – MR rates review, reimbursement, calculation and invoicing
8. Coordinating aircraft transitions
9. Provide Technical support for commercial activities and act as first point of contact for the technical departments of customers
10. Support/ Lead procurement of OEM, 3rd party maintenance and technical service providers
11. Liaise with OEMs to keep current on product issues, maintenance costs, in-service issues and actions

Requirements

1. Sound understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, aviation authorities’ regulatory requirements, airline operations, aircraft operations, aircraft technical records and the aviation industry.
2. Minimum with Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace Engineering
3. At least 5 years of experience in the Aviation MRO industry. Candidates with Airframe Base/ Line Maintenance qualifications and programme management experience preferred
4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
5. Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills
6. Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
7. Able to work independently and/or with a team
