Reporting to the High Net-Worth (HNW) Team Lead of the Consumer Propositions Team, you will drive the end-to-end development and execution of HNW insurance product propositions, supporting the overall product strategy and roadmap for GELS.
- Ideation of HNW Product Propositions
- Participate in cross-functional ideation squads to conceptualise innovative and differentiated HNW insurance and wealth propositions, addressing sophisticated client needs such as wealth preservation and legacy planning.
- Partner with Customer Insights and Research teams to design and conduct targeted research (e.g. via surveys, interviews) to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine product features, pricing, and structuring through an iterative design process to achieve a compelling HNW value proposition.
- Support the development of presentation materials to articulate product propositions to stakeholders, including management and secure buy-in.
- Product Approval & Governance
- Assist the preparation of business cases (including business objectives and strategic rationale) and the required deliverables for product approval.
- Prepare materials in line with internal product approval frameworks, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
- Engage approving stakeholders to secure timely signoffs to ensure launch date is not compromised.
- Product Delivery and Launch Preparation
- Work with downstream stakeholders to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the product proposition, intent and design for the purpose of implementation.
- Drafting of policy documents and product summaries, and co-ordinate the circulation of materials to relevant stakeholders to obtain feedback and final sign-off.
- Develop marketing brief for engagement and discussion with Customer Marketing and Propositions team for the purpose of designing marketing materials that speaks to the target customer segment.
- Post-Launch Monitoring and Tracking
- Support ongoing monitoring of product performance and extraction of post-launch sales data.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to ascertain if sales are aligned with intended HNW customer segments and proposition design, and the advisers who are selling the product.
- Prepare insights and performance reporting for stakeholders and management, highlighting trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Contribute to continuous enhancement of HNW product suite based on market feedback and competitive positioning.
- Risk and Compliance
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Proactively escalate concerns and promote best practices in risk management and governance.
- Tertiary education qualification in Actuarial, Insurance, Finance or Marketing related disciplines.
- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience, in product development / proposition or pricing, preferably with exposure to HNW or affluent segments.
- Possess strong traits of analytical mind, with the ability to seed ideas, link ideation and inspire creativity / resourcefulness.
- Strong communicator to articulate ideas and convince stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, organizational, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Pro-active and project-oriented individual with focus on improvement and change and ability to work under pressure or tight timelines.
