Job Description
Tasks and duties:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within the approved schedule.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment required for site operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project standards.
- Identify and resolve site issues, technical problems, and construction-related challenges.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site personnel.
- Maintain proper documentation, site records, and daily progress reports.
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress review meetings.
- Monitor material deliveries and ensure materials meet project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site organization at all times.
- Assist in project handover, defect rectification, and project close-out activities.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in building construction projects. Fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions.
- Experience in high-rise building projects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of construction methods, building materials and site management practices.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiar with construction quality standards and safety requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, AUTO-CAD, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Good Team player to communicate with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to multitask and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Work location based at Johor, willing to travel outstation if required.
- Willing to work at multiple location / sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
