Job Purpose
To manage passenger and vehicle ticket sales, provide excellent customer service, and ensure accurate ticketing transactions and records in accordance with company procedures and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell and issue ferry/RORO tickets for passengers and vehicles in accordance with scheduled sailings.
- Process ticket bookings, amendments, cancellations, and rescheduling through the company's ticketing system.
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding schedules, fares, travel requirements, and company policies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently.
- Receive and process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, online transfers, and other approved payment methods.
- Verify passenger and vehicle information to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of passenger and vehicle manifests before departure.
- Coordinate with Operations, Port Authorities, and Vessel Crew to ensure smooth boarding and departure processes.
- Monitor any discrepancies or system issues and report to the management
- Ensure the ticketing counter and work area are organized, professional, and customer-friendly.
- Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures at all times.
- Assist with administrative and operational duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
- Computer literate and familiar with ticketing or reservation systems.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
